🏛️ General Rules for Visitors
No climbing the pyramids or structures: El Castillo and other ruins are off-limits to climbing to preserve their integrity.
No touching or leaning on the ruins: Physical contact can damage the ancient stonework.
No littering: Visitors must dispose of trash properly or take it with them. The site is sacred and must be kept clean.
No drones: Drone usage is prohibited unless you have special permission from INAH (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia).
No smoking or alcohol: These are not allowed within the archaeological zone.
No loud music or disruptive behavior: Respect the cultural and historical significance of the site.
📸 Photography and Filming
Personal photography is allowed, but tripods, professional equipment, and filming for commercial purposes require a permit.
🕰️ Visiting Tips
Arrive early to avoid crowds and heat.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking.
Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat—shade is limited.
Guided tours are recommended to fully appreciate the site’s history and symbolism
